Medium Earnings Report — February 2024
Month 2 — Life gets in the way sometimes
February was my second full month of writing on Medium. I started the month with more of a plan than January.
- Publish a story at least every 2 days
- Get at least 2 stories into publications
- Write an expanded version of my most successful story from January
I was also part of a Medium challenge to earn $50 or more from a single article in February.
How My Plan Went
Because of a couple of things that happened personally around the middle of February, my posting schedule and time spent engaging on Medium went out the window.
I hardly logged into the site at all for over a week and never really got back on track with my plans for the month.
I ended up publishing 7 stories in February, 5 less than January.
And a far cry from one every 2 days.
I also didn’t write an expanded version of an earlier story or come anywhere close to the $50 target for a single article.
The one target I did hit was getting 2 stories into publications. Both were published in Minimalist Side Hustles.
